Farewell Lunch

We had an emotional farewell lunch for me at Alicia's and even though she is shortly moving away too, she hosted it! The lunch was delicious, but it was memorable because of each of my unique friends ��� I met Alicia as my first friend in Charleston and Lisa as the best neighbor a girl could have. And then we added Emily to the mix and viola, we clicked. We have our monthly lunches and get to catch up on life, working, not working, fun with kids, not fun with kids, selling houses, building houses, not selling houses and everything in between! How can I forget such kindness--today, the lunch, cake, flowers, gifts, and my first introduction to scrap booking; but all the while I was here, a wonderful friendship and lasting memories. It's not often in life that we meet people that we so easily bond with. This is going to be a hard good-bye, but someone has told me that in true friends, it is never good-bye but rather see you later (which it now will be since Lisa has agreed to host one more lunch next month!).
