Gujarati Lessons

Since we moved to Charlotte, the kids have enrolled in Gujarati classes at the mandir and this year, they completed their second year of lessons each. It is not easy as the classes are in a very traditional form of Gujarati but yet the kids have persisted. We made all sorts of attempts to aid them in their studies, from trying to speak the language at home regularly (which didn't work so well) to posting sticky notes throughout the house labeled onto objects with their Gujarati translation. Then those notes got awfully annoying. In the end, it was the kids own desire to learn and their regular attendance class. I hope they will continue to practice these skills more and more each day.
