Piano Recital Charlotte

The kids had their first piano recital in Charlotte with their new teacher. We loved our previous piano teacher so much and worried we would not find someone here to her par. She was an amazing person and we miss her very much! But a wonderful teacher showed up in our lives, too and the kids have learned a lot from her in a short period of time. The performance was held at the Piedmont Music Center and the children played their pieces on an elegant Steinway & Sons Grand Piano (how awesome is that!). Ashna played Japanese Garden by Jennifer Linn and Akshay applied his talents on Tales from Hungary by Martha Mier. The teacher also awarded kids trophies and ribbons based on their performances at competitions.
