A New Birthday Tradition

We started a new birthday tradition for Ashok’s birthday; he decided he wants to buy us a gift on his day every year. You will hear no argument from any of us! We had a lovely birthday celebration with new friends, but ones we hope will be in our lives forever forwawrd! We had a fabulous Mexican dinner followed by an evening of all emotions – laughter, tears, and all! On a side note, my Friday the 13th was a bit disastrous, I never believed in the superstition but this year made a believer out of me. I started the morning accidentally spilling pomegranate juice all over the kitchen floor and partially inside and outside of the refrigerator; followed by accidentally nicking myself with a grater not once but twice, and then an ugly conversation with one of my least favorite peoples. But we had a memorable day and focused on all the things we are grateful for instead.
