Made Another Move!

We survived another move, there are too many to count at this point – but do note, our 2nd in the last six months and 3rd in the last year and a half, and after that it gets too depressing to count. It is hard starting over and over again but alas we must! We arrived on Thanksgiving weekend and it was and still is COLD here in Charlotte! I have not been able to take off my jacket for days. The kids got started at their new schools. A reverse from Charleston: Akshay has uniforms and Ashna does not. So as we have a disaster every “first day” of school, this one was spent with me going on a panicked shopping spree since I forgot to get Akshay uniform clothes ahead of time. We attended a Thanksgiving function with the local Indian community that included games for the kids and some for the adults, and then a fabulous lunch and dinner, followed by garbas! Nice way to start a new move, but still missing friends we left behind.
