We were lucky again this year to get a white Christmas (well, technically the day after but still it’s good!). The Patel’s spent Christmas Eve with a new family we just met and enjoyed our time with them very much. And they have kids the same age as ours, so it will work out well. And aside from us accidentally showing up two hours late for dinner, it was a pleasant evening. On Christmas day, we headed to visit more friends, the Kelty’s where they had the most scenic layers of snow. Surrounding their acres of land and home was pristine white, fluffy snow with horses and barns as the backdrop atop the rolling hills.
Our kids and theirs’ had a blast sledding down the hills and playing in the snow for hours. They came back in for hot coco and then were back out again! As usual, the dinner was a delight, as Jessica never disappoints in that regard. Raising four kids with another on the way, she still manages to do it all!
