We made an introduction to sports, as it is HUGE here in Cleveland by attending the Brown’s football practice game! Ashu had a hard time with the concept of it being a practice game and the Browns played each other (so half the team wore white while the other half wore brown, but they were both the Browns!) We had fun, enjoyed the crowd and the team spirit.
We got spoiled by the easy-access to sporting venues in Charleston and forgot how long it would take to reach the game (we hit bumper to bumper traffic followed by a line up of cars to get into the parking lot, then a walk across the multi-storied parking lot, skyway, walkway, and finally around the stadium to our seats!). We just sat down when the kids announced they were hungry and I spent the next half hour in line getting them something to eat!
The energy of the crowd was contagious though and before you know it I, too, was shouting: Go Browns, Go! The best part was the spectacular fireworks show afterwards!!!
