We deviated off the main highway on our return home from Virginia through the Blue Ridge Parkway for some breach-taking sight seeing opportunities and a photo or two! The Blue Ridge stems from the Smokie Mountains and heads eastwards through the Appalachian Mountain chain.
The drive was slower, but worthwhile to take in the rich colors of the mountain, trees, and sweet life.
The Mabry Mill which Ashu is standing in front of is one that I had a jigsaw puzzle of when I was a little girl, though I did not know it at the time!
