Good Dance for a Great Cause

We were blessed to be able to participate in a local fund-raiser for the Maiti Nepal organization. Over 1,000 people attended the musical drama version of Devdas and my kids and I had the opportunity to be in the performance. Our amazing choreographer single-handedly taught all 20 dance performances and coordinated every aspect of the evening. Ashna was a part of the opening acts and she and her group performed Jab Hum Jawan Honge from the movie, Betaab. Akshay had a fun and silly scene/dance called, Chalak Chalak . And I got to be a part of the moms’ group dancing to Morey Piya . All the dances were graceful and the evening, magical. We appreciated being a part of such an important cause and being able, even if just a little, to make a difference.
