Lake House Get Away

A friend of ours took her son and Akshay to their lake house for a weekend get away. They went tubing, fishing and boating—all amazing outdoor, nature-seeking activities – all of which unfortunately we never do with our kids. Thank goodness for friends with big hearts! She even showed the kids how to fish and bait their line for them each time! A friend that will pick up slimy worms for you is really a friend indeed! Akshay had so much fun and Ashu and I joined in the next day. We also saw our first several hundred Mayflies, they really did swarm us by the hundreds, and luckily each is harmless.
