The Patel’s spent Valentine’s Day together this year attending a potluck at a friend’s house. Delights included my favorite Gujju and other foods: Oondhiyu, Kadhi, Dhokla, Paneer/Aloo Tikkas, Puran Poli, Cupcakes, Brownies, Cookies and more. The 15 or so kids entertained themselves and we did not even hear a peep out of them the whole night. A friend of ours even remembered my first Valentine's Day card to Ashok when he was still in India, it included a poem I had written just for my new hubby.
