Anniversary…

What does it mean when you forget your own Wedding Anniversary? Today marks our 15-17 years together (fluctuation based on an issue of counting the "ceremonial” date or the “legal” date). But regardless, for the years (and years, did I mention years?) that Ashok kept forgetting, I gave him such a hard time. Deep guilt was laid for forgetting such a precious, meaningful day! BUT today, I completely forgot and he did not even think twice about it. His excitement was on the gift he got for me (see pix below): he gave it to me this morning before going to work. And even though he forgets most birthdays, anniversaries, and other occasions, he seems to be able to make it up with a single momentous gesture such as this. I'm thinking of keeping him for at least another 15-17 years.
