And our little Ashu had her first dance performance entitled, "Tableaux Vivants." Her group's tap performance was to the Platters' "Sixteen Tons." Her instructor Angie Baker choreographed the dance. The night was memorable and Ashu danced hard. So much so that she fell asleep immediately afterwards and was not seen again for the final bow. A photographer took over 500 photos of all the dancers....our little star is on her way to being a big star!

Updates from June....
The Patel Blog is a bit out of date...so here are a few updates from June. Akshay had an End of Year Piano Recital and he volunteered to be the first to perform. He told his teacher that "he is isn't afraid to be first as he fearless, he is a Patel after all." Who's genes does he think he has, I held back on telling him about the family tree filled with a bunch of cowards. But oh well, the songs he performed were "Sunrise" and "Dancing Bear."
