The kids are thrilled to no end about having a snow day or two and being able to stay in. They waited for one the year we were in Ohio but no luck. Despite having the worst weather that year in Cleveland’s thirty-year history, not a day of school was cancelled. A typical snow season would have brought 60-100 inches of snow per season, but we had 120 inches and still the streets were all paved and the city did not miss a beat. So for snow day, they loved being able to watch it from in-doors and enjoy hot cups of cocoa!
