Gujarati Picnic

The Gujarati picnic was held yesterday and we had a lot of fun. I love these picnics because they last all day. We ate freshly made food for hours on end - from roasted corn-on-the-cob, pakoras, veggie rolls, boiled peanuts, pav bhaji to snow cones and cotton candy and more! The people that organized it worked really hard and it showed. The kids got to see their friends after such a long time and played on the huge water slide for at least four hours straight. I believe they have officially changed several shades darker from being in the sun. After that, they filled up on some food and headed back in for a game of football. Big people games included cricket, volleyball and endless chatting and laughter.
