New Addiction: Tudors

Thanks to Kara, my new addiction is the Tudors, on Showtime. I got through Season 1 on NetFlix and am patiently awaiting the releases of Season 2 and 3. I took my time getting through the nine episodes, mainly because I had to sneak in watching it when the kids were not around (it is blatantly bold), even I had to cover my eyes through some scenes, needing cold showers after others. The writers at Showtime have re-written history in many ways (e.g. Mary Tudor marries the King of Portugal instead of the King of France and I am pretty sure the real Charles Brandon never looked like the one casted in The Tudors!), but I am not complaining, it is entertaining and Jonathan Rhys Meyers makes the real King Henry VIII rather dull. There are much worst vices to have....
