IAGC Gala Night

IAGC held an Indian Gala night on February 23rd at the Embassy Suites with dinner and folk dances by the Nritya Natya Kala Bharti Dancers of the Dance and Music Academy of Atlanta, GA. The dances were great and discussed the evolution of Indian dance forms including Kathak, Mogul, Panjabi, Koli, Rajasthani and a Holi dance. And for Ashok and I, it was a treat to get dressed up, enjoy a night out with friends, without the kids. We were so excited that we could go! A friend of ours graciously offered to share sitters and we were able to enjoy the wonderful evening. My only complaint was that the evening ended too quickly! All dressed up like that - I needed more time out to enjoy!
