Ashu broke out with allergies and was not able to go to school today. Instead, she spent the day with mommy teaching her to read. We did fine (great, in fact) with hat, rat, and cat; but we got stumped at "bat." What happened? I guess we can ease up on that college fund. I commend her for her effort though. She kept telling me that there isn't a letter that makes the "b" sound. Patience, Delia! I have to have patience I remind myself again. Well, okay in her defence, she did have a lot of Benedryl. Perhaps I should too.
